# Install Turnero as a Progressive Web App (PWA)

> Install Turnero on your desktop, Android, or iOS device as a Progressive Web App for fast, app-like access with a single tap or click.

Turnero is a Progressive Web App (PWA), which means you can install it directly on your desktop, laptop, or mobile device. Once installed, it opens like a native app — no browser tab needed — and keeps you a single click away from your clinic schedule at all times.

## Why Install Turnero as a PWA

Installing Turnero as a PWA gives you a faster, more focused experience:

* Launch Turnero from your taskbar, dock, or home screen with a single click or tap.
* Opens in a standalone window without browser navigation bars.
* Works on any device: Windows, macOS, Android, iOS.
* Keeps you logged in between sessions.
* Enables desktop push notifications (see [Notifications](/features/notifications)).

## How to Install on Desktop (Chrome / Edge)

    Navigate to your clinic's Turnero URL in **Google Chrome** or **Microsoft Edge**.

    Look for the **Install** icon (⊕) in the browser's address bar on the right side.

    Click the icon and select **Install** in the popup that appears.

    Turnero opens immediately as a standalone app and a shortcut is added to your desktop or taskbar.

## How to Install on Android

    Navigate to your clinic's Turnero URL in **Chrome** on your Android device.

    Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right corner.

  <Step title="Tap Add to Home screen">
    Select **Add to Home screen** from the menu options.

  <Step title="Confirm the installation">
    Tap **Add** to confirm.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Launch from your home screen">
    Turnero appears as an app icon on your home screen and opens in a standalone window.

## How to Install on iOS (Safari)

    Navigate to your clinic's Turnero URL in **Safari** on your iPhone or iPad.

    Tap the **Share** button — the box with an upward arrow at the bottom of the screen.

    Scroll down in the share sheet and tap **Add to Home Screen**.

    Tap **Add** — the Turnero icon appears on your home screen.

  The install prompt only appears once the app meets PWA criteria. If you don't see it, make sure you're using a supported browser (Chrome or Edge on desktop, Chrome on Android, Safari on iOS).
