Doctor profiles in Turnero control who appears in the appointment scheduling dropdown and who can log in to manage patient records. Only users with the Admin role can manage doctor profiles.

Adding a Doctor

1

Log in with an Admin account

Sign in using credentials for a Turnero account that has the Admin role assigned.
2

Go to Administration → Doctors

Open the main navigation menu and select Administration → Doctors.
3

Click New Doctor

On the Doctors list page, click the New Doctor button to open the creation form.
4

Enter the doctor's Name

Type the doctor’s display name in the Name field. This name appears on appointment records and in the scheduling dropdown.
5

Select the associated User Account

Choose the linked user account from the User Account dropdown. Only accounts that already have the Medico role assigned appear in this list. If the dropdown is empty, create and assign the Medico role to a user first.
6

Click Save

Click Save to create the doctor profile. The doctor is now available in the appointment scheduling form.

Deleting a Doctor

To remove a doctor profile, click the delete button next to the doctor’s name on the Administration → Doctors list page. The deletion takes effect immediately.
Deleting a doctor does not remove their past appointments or patient visit records. However, the doctor will no longer appear in the scheduling dropdown for new appointments.

Doctor and User Account Relationship

Each doctor profile must be linked to a Turnero user account. Keep the following in mind when creating doctor profiles:
  • The linked user account must have the Medico role assigned before it appears in the User Account dropdown.
  • A single user account can only be linked to one doctor profile.
  • If no Medico-role accounts exist yet, create a user account and assign the Medico role first, then return here to create the doctor profile.
Only users with the Admin role can access the Doctors management section under Administration.
