Front-desk staff (Ingreso role) and doctors (Medico role) can schedule appointments through the Turnero interface. Each appointment is linked to a specific doctor and time slot, and all changes are reflected in real time for every logged-in user.

Creating an Appointment

1

Open the Appointments section

Go to Appointments in the main navigation.
2

Open the scheduling form

Click New Appointment to open the scheduling form.
3

Select a doctor

Select the Doctor from the dropdown list.
4

Select a date

Select the Date for the appointment.
5

Choose a time slot

Choose an available Time Slot from the dropdown. Only pre-configured slots appear here.
6

Enter patient details

Enter the patient’s Full Name and DNI.
7

Add optional details

Optionally add Health Insurance (obra social) and a Reason for the visit.
8

Save the appointment

Click Save — the appointment appears immediately in the table for all logged-in users.

Checking Time Slot Availability

Turnero automatically checks whether the selected doctor already has an appointment at the chosen time slot. If the slot is already taken, the system prevents the booking and prompts you to select a different time. This check runs before saving, so no duplicate appointments can be created for the same doctor at the same time.

Editing an Appointment

Editing is available to the Ingreso (front-desk) role only.
  1. Click the edit icon on the appointment row you want to change.
  2. Update any field in the form — doctor, date, time slot, patient details, or reason.
  3. Click Save to confirm. The updated appointment is pushed to all active users in real time.

Marking a Patient as Arrived

The Check In action is available to the Medico (doctor) role only.
  1. Locate the patient’s appointment row in the table.
  2. Click the Check In (✓) button on that row.
  3. The Arrived (Ingresado) status updates immediately — front-desk staff see the change in their own table without refreshing.

Deleting an Appointment

Deletion is available to the Admin and Ingreso roles.
  1. Click the delete icon on the appointment row.
  2. Confirm the deletion in the prompt.
  3. The row is removed from the table instantly for all logged-in users.

Filtering Appointments

  • Use the Doctor filter dropdown to display appointments for a specific doctor only.
  • Use the Date picker to view appointments on a different day. By default the table shows today’s appointments.
  • Doctors logged in with the Medico role are automatically filtered to their own schedule — the doctor filter is pre-set and cannot be changed by them.
Time slots must be configured by an Admin before they appear in the scheduling form. See Time Slots for details.
Use the column headers to sort the appointment table by name, time, or doctor.
